I agree the service is terrible. Poor management, let's say it was a waste of my time.

Decided to eat at the bar and was one of 8 other people. The server, also the bartender, was slow, phony attitude, and more interested in flirting with the single guy way at the end of the bar than even brining the water we asked for. Prompt on the sake, though. The Olympics were on the four excellent plasma screens but no sound. They were playing modern pop way too loud for the nearly empty bar. I asked to turn on the sound to the swimming and volleyball contest and after 5-10 minutes she returned to say that the manager wanted to here the music instead and that they would not comply with my request. Odd decision for a "Sports Bar" especially since everyone in the bar was watching the soundless Olympic contests. I then asked to speak to the manager and she finally arrived near the end of our $75.00 meal with attitude and some lame excuse that they were unable to turn on the sound to the sports since the dining room, which now had 6 guest who by the way were also glancing at the plasmas, would also hear the announcer. Meanwhile more waiting for refills on the water, already out of sake, and the check finally arrived by the lackadaisical server. All in all, mediocre sushi with not so fresh fish, small serving of edamame (cold), run of the mill sake, and very inattentive service staff. When asked of the chefs preparing the meal, the server stated that they were Hispanic and new to the location. So many other outstanding sushi bars and sports bars out there; interesting concept, but poorly deployed and managed.
