In the time when you are craving a good soup and sandwich this La Bou didn't come thru for me. I ordered the half sandwich and cup of soup. The sandwich was turkey on whole wheat and it was ok nothing different it was actually very plain. For the soup I chose the spicy chicken soup, it looked greasy or oily, and like a cream soup but not very appealing, it was way too spicy. I also got a lemon bar and that was ok it was good and a drink all for around 11 dollars and change, which was a lot of money and the two main items weren't even worth it to me. I don't think I'll go to this La Bou or others ever again.

Maestro is a wonderful mix of great coffee and fine art.
Along with all the expected hot and cold coffee drinks, the shop has the added advantage of housing the Natomas Artist Cooperative works.
While your coffee is brewed you can look at wonderful works of art, some of which has been featured on the cover of N Magazine.
The staff is friendly and if you stop in from 5-7 each 2nd Saturday you'll get an extra treat from the resident artists on hand to talk about their work and perhaps pour you a sip of wine!
