My grandson has been going for 2 yrs, and has grown as a person and also in his school work, based on the encouragement and interest that the instructors have taken in him. I also have another grandson taking lessons from another Kovar's and he has been in that class for years. Has just gotten his black belt and is continuing. I am pleased and proud to be associated with these people.

Any martial arts school is only as good as its lead instructor. In corp rate martial arts schools like this one. Instructors often lack any real experience and or passion. They also siphon through them over the years. Don't let the the hype fool you. This is a corporation aiming to please stock holders. Your better of finding a dojo where the master instructor owns the business and the program, and has true passion and experience. Other martial arts instructors take the high road and say nothing, but Kovars is considered a Joke amongst most reputable martial artists. Not counting the other hype oriented organizations. Any reputation they have has been paid for. Sorry for being harsh, its just the way that a lot of martial artists in the area feel.
    Sorry Dave and Tim.
